Brief Description: Correctional Officer Basic

Full Description: The introductory training for Correctional Officers provided by TCI which prepares a jail employee with the general and specific knowledge about the detention of prisoners in a local facility. A Correctional Officer must complete this course within 12 months of hire date, per Minimum Standard 1400-1-.03 (2).

Directions to Location: Parking is at the corner of N. Cumberland St. and Rogers. They will then walk around the building southward on North Cumberland and enter at Dispatch by the flag poles. Class is in the second floor training room. Please email Sgt. Garton jgarton@wcso95.org with any questions.

Reporting Instructions: This training will be reported by TCI, Please arrive at the Class location 15 minutes prior to the 8:30am start. Parking is at the corner of N. Cumberland St. and Rogers.
