Full Description
A transformative training program designed to help correctional staff at all levels proactively address issues related to officer wellness, toxic work environments, and leadership styles. This training takes a forward-thinking approach to solving the challenges faced in corrections, focusing on prevention rather than reaction.

Upon completing this training, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize and address officer wellness challenges at every stage of a corrections career.
2. Identify toxic work environments and personnel and develop strategies to overcome these challenges.
3. Understand the psychological and physical changes officers experience throughout their careers, and how to manage them proactively for better wellness.
4. Explore different leadership styles and determine which methods have proven successful in corrections environments.
5. Shift from a reactive to a proactive approach in addressing problems and creating a positive, sustainable culture within corrections.
