Full Description
The Tennessee Public Safety Network was established to address the growing stress and trauma experienced by law enforcement and public safety personnel. We believe untreated stress profoundly impacts their physical and emotional well-being.

The cost of unrecognized and untreated stress to the individual, family, department/agency, and community is very high.  This cost includes:
• Higher rates of heart disease
• Shorter life span
• Higher rates of divorce (almost twice the national average)
• Higher rates of alcohol and other substance abuse
• Suicide
• Increased sick time utilization
• Depression
• PTSD

Lodging will be provided for registered attendees.

Meals will be provided according to the following schedule:

Day 1: Dec 7 - Travel day for registered attendees. Lodging provided (no meals provided)
Day 2: Dec 8 - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day 3: Dec 9 - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day 4: Dec 10 - Breakfast and lunch

The training hours for this course will count towards Local In-service hours only.
